Target market assessment

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Target Market Assessment feature, an enhancement of our Advanced Suitability capabilities. This feature expands the criteria used to determine the suitability of financial products, ensuring compliance with investor-specific requirements:

  • Investor type - Ensures that financial instruments are suitable based on the investor classification (e.g., professional or retail)
  • Risk score - Matches instruments with the investor's risk profile, flagging instruments below the required risk threshold as unsuitable.
  • Time horizon - Verifies that the instrumentยดs minimum time horizon aligns with the investor's objectives.

Additionally, this feature introduces the ability to deem instruments as suitable within portfolio contexts, even if they might not meet individual suitability criteria, based on overall investor risk scores.

The Target Market Assessment offers flexibility, allowing you to select which criteria; investor type, risk score, and time horizon - are used to assess product suitability. This customization enhances the toolโ€™s adaptability to diverse advisory strategies and compliance needs.

As part of our focus on compliance by design, Deep Alpha can prevent advisors from proceeding with portfolios that contain unsuitable instruments, enhancing compliance measures. This functionality is optional but recommended for those using the Target Market Assessment.

Multi goal lookup of step models in cost analysis

We are pleased to announce a new enhancement in our Deep Alpha cost analysis tool. This update introduces a multi-goal lookup for step models, enhancing the accuracy of cost calculations across multiple investment goals:

  • Enhanced accuracy: By aggregating the sum across all investment goals, the step models provide more precise cost estimations, reducing the need for manual fee overrides.
  • Streamlined Process: This functionality ensures that the costs derived from the system are both accurate and reflective of the combined investment objectives.

This feature requires activation by our delivery team. To learn more about this functionality and how it can enhance your financial advisories, please reach out to our delivery team for a detailed discussion.
